PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT THE CITY OF FOWLER APPROVES FUNDING ASSISTANCE TO BUSINESSES PROVIDING OUTDOOR BUSINESS OPERATIONS DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS
The City of Fowler is providing help to businesses that have been impacted by Covid-19. The Fowler City Council has approved a grant program to assist businesses that wish to conduct outdoor operations due to the State Order and Fresno County Health Officer Order ceasing certain indoor business operations, and related Covid-19 restrictions. Restaurants, retail establishments, barber shops, hair salons and other local businesses that are prohibited from fully operating and serving customers indoors may apply for grants up to the amount of $500.00. This is a reimbursement program that can be used for purchased items related to outdoor services such as: outdoor furniture – tables and chairs, fencing, umbrellas, misters, fans, heaters, and related items. The eligible items must be purchased between June 17, 2020 through September 15, 2020. All requests for such reimbursements must be received by the City no later than September 30, 2020 to be considered.
