Emergency Sand / Sandbags for Flood Prevention

During the rain/storm events, the Public Works yard located on the southeast corner of 7th/Main Street will remain open Monday through Friday between 8am-5pm, and Weekends from 6am-10am. Empty bags are provided free of charge to City residents only. Supplies are available on a first come, first serve basis. We are working with our allied partners to help ensure adequate resources are available. The City will provide 20 bags per resident. You must provide proof of residence (utility bill will suffice) and bring your own shovels in order to shovel sand into the sandbags yourself.
