Commuter Alert along SR 99 - 5/3/26 from 6 PM to 5/8/26 3:30 PM
Caltrans to replace damaged concrete barrier along State Route 99 in Fresno County.

The Department of Transportation (Caltrans), in cooperation with Midstate Barrier Inc., announces work to remove and replace damaged concrete barrier along State Route 99 just south of Manning Avenue in Fresno County beginning May 3, 2026.

The following will occur Sunday, May 3rd from 6:00pm to Monday, May 4th at 6:00am:

  • The contractor will be closing the left shoulder and #1 lane along northbound and southbound State Route 99 just south of Manning Avenue to set temporary concrete K-rail barriers near the work zone.
  • At the end of the scheduled closure hours, the #1 lane along northbound and southbound State Route 99 will be reopened. The left shoulder will remain closed to perform necessary repairs.

The following will occur Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm beginning Monday, May 4th:

  • The contractor will remove and replace the damaged section of concrete barrier along State Route 99 just south of Manning Avenue.
